Peter and his wife have been married 32 years and they have 3 wonderful children, 1 son-in-law, and a seven year old grandson.
Following in his father’s footsteps he went into the Industrial Cutting Tool business as a salesman, and later became a manager and President. For over 30 years, Peter not only learned much about the automotive and tool industry, but developed a real skill for interacting with people on all levels.
Peter's first assignment took him to Mexico, where he had a front row view of the poverty that exists in our world. He vowed then that someday he wanted to make a difference.
Working hard, he had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout the United Sates, Europe, Japan and China. A few years ago Peter got tired of the corporate life and started his own business, and soon after, LamanatorPlus, Inc. was born!
As a young man Peter joined the Knights of Columbus, where he had the opportunity to do some of the charity work, which he continues today. 4 years into his marriage God gave his family a gift, their second child, his only son, who was born with special needs. Unable to walk or talk, he has demonstrated over the years an unstoppable strength to achieve goals despite adversity. The lessons that Peter has learned from his son have been amazing. Because of him he has an even greater desire to make a difference in the lives of people who have special needs, especially those that cannot help themselves.
Peter's real passion, along with the success of LamanatorPlus, Inc, is to be able to build homes for special needs people so that despite their difficulties, they can at least have adequate care and housing that no one can take away from them.
You can also find Peter serving on several boards, including Lakeland’s Golf and Country Club, The ARC of Livingston County and State board as well, and he is still a member of The K of C. The ARC is an advocacy organization that offers help and hope to individuals with special needs.
Peter's philosophy in life is not so much what you have or receive, but what you give back to those in need.
